Polish Lowland Sheepdog

Bloom was/ is my first dog.  I adopted him as a 10 year old from the Camarillo Animal Shelter in 2004.  I picked him because I was worried if I didn't, nobody would.  He was in bad shape, but he is now fully recovered and is the cuddliest dog I know.  Looking back, I wonder why I thought it would be a good idea to put titles on an 11 year old dog, but at the same time, be both had fun, so why not?  Bloom is always happy to work, because he knows he will get a treat for it.  Bloom was the perfect dog to learn agility with, because he had fun, didn't mind my mistakes, and was easy to keep up with.  He is now retired from agility.  His most recent title is his Rally Novice, which he earned at 13 years old, earning placement ribbons for all three legs, and competing against at least 10 other dogs for each leg.   Not bad for a dog that the shelter worker said was "not very adoptable."  Bloom's favorite activities are mooching treats out of innocent bystanders, getting pets, napping on the couch, and sleeping on the bed.
