I was oblivious to the world of dog competition when I drove home from Phoenix with Miss Puck, but had promised to show her in conformation and at least one performance event.  Mary Arango insisted I go see her despite my many reservations, and the belief that nothing would be good enough after the loss of my first Border Collie, Lucy.  That first play bow sucked me in .........   Thanks to the amazing talent and forgiving nature of Puck, we have had lots of fun and some downright decent success competing together in many venues.  I have Puck to thank for the many many wonderful people I have met, befriended, and learned from via the dog fancy.  Puck is the epitome of biddable and always happy – whether herding, doing agility, posing in the ring, or hanging on the couch giving snuggles.  She is a perfect teacher to a revolving parade of dogs our family fosters for the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation, best friend to my daughter, companion at the hanger to my husband, and obviously adored by me.
