Intermediate & Advanced Rally Skills w/Anne

6:45pm: Intermediate & Advanced Rally Skills:
For dogs who have earned their Novice title or are working at the higher levels beyond Novice. This class will cover the exercises included in the Intermediate and Advanced levels, and dogs may work off-leash if they can stay focused on their handler. This class will not include the Excellent or Master level signs and exercises, those will be covered in the next session.
Dates for the Rally class session:
June 15, 22, 29
July 6, 13
**This is a 5-week class session**
In the event that I need to cancel a class due to bad weather, the make-up date will be held on July 20th. Please note that 7/20 will not be a date that I have a class for those that cannot make a class during the planned session. Refunds are not issued for missed classes.
Cost per dog per session: $125/GVDC members, $150/non-GVDC members

*All classes take place at Girsh Park in Goleta, behind Costco: https://www.goletavalleydogclub.org/practices/
*Payment for the class session is due on the first day of the session, checks are made out to “GVDC”
*Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to class start time to walk your dog, set up your area, help with Rally items
*Please help with setting up and/or breaking down the Rally course, picking up the signs and holders, etc. Thank you!
Bring a variety of delicious meaty treats for your dog, water and a bowl, a chair for yourself, shade for your dog, clicker, 4 or 6-foot regular leash (no flexi’s please), and ideally a crate or pen for your dog while you walk the courses.
For all Agility & Rally Classes, please bring with you each week:
Your dog on a flat buckle collar, martingale collar or front-clip harness. Bring a variety of delicious meaty treats for your dog, water and a bowl, a chair for yourself, shade for your dog, clicker, 4 or 6 foot leash (no flexi leashes or choke chains, please), and ideally a crate or pen for your dog. Please bring a toy or two that your dog really enjoys, to use as a reward throughout the class.
