Caprice

This is Caprice, our seven year old JRT. What’s missing from this photo is a tennis ball—Caprice’s first love. She’s a natural flyball dog, the only problem is that she wants to run all the races in both lanes. (I don’t think we’ll be competing anytime soon.)

I have introduced her to obedience, agility and now rally obedience with Anne. She’s come a long way in terms of focus and self-control, but it’s a relentless journey. It’s been a challenge convincing her that she is not the Alpha dog, but now that she’s accepting her new role, she’s a lot more relaxed. She has a huge personality in a little dog’s body.
